Add a battery to your existing solar
Keep your panels, add storage. Whoever installed your solar, we check what it can work with and quote with the federal discount applied.

What we check first
Adding a battery is simple on some homes and needs more work on others. These decide which.
Your inverter
Its age and type decide whether the battery connects to it or needs its own.
Your switchboard
Space, condition and whether backup circuits can be separated.
Where the battery goes
Garage or outside wall, with the clearances the rules require.
How you use power
Evening use and future plans, like an EV, set the size.
Will a battery work with my old inverter?
Sometimes. Many older inverters cannot talk to a battery, so the battery brings its own inverter, or we replace the old one with a hybrid. We explain the options in writing.
My installer went out of business. Can you still add a battery?
Yes. We test the existing system first so you are not adding a battery to a fault. Solar repairs
Do I need more panels?
Not always. If your system already exports a lot during the day, a battery can use that. If not, we may suggest a few more panels.
