Solar repairs and servicing, even if we didn’t install it
Inverter showing an error, bills creeping up, or the company that installed it has gone? We test any system, tell you plainly what it is doing, and fix what is worth fixing.
Signs your solar needs a look
Most faults are silent. Panels on the roof look the same whether they are working or not.
Your bill went up, but your usage did not
Often the first sign a system has stopped producing.
The inverter shows an error, a warning light or nothing at all
A blank screen in daylight usually means it is not running.
The monitoring app stopped updating
Sometimes just wifi. Sometimes the inverter.
Nobody has checked it since it was installed
Connections, isolators and inverters age, even when nothing looks wrong.
Your installer no longer answers, or no longer exists
You are not stuck. Any licensed solar electrician can take it on.

Solar health check
A licensed electrician tests the whole system and gives you a written report: what it is doing, what is wrong, and what is worth fixing. You get the price before we come out.
- Inverter fault history and output test
- Isolators, cabling and roof-side checks where it is safe to access
- Switchboard, solar main switch and labels
- Panel and inverter warranty check with the manufacturer
- Written report with photos and options
Why so many systems have no one looking after them
Solar companies come and go. The panels stay on the roof for decades.

Inverters usually wear out long before panels
If yours has failed, a repair is not always worth it on an older unit. A replacement can be battery-ready, so adding storage later is cheaper.
- Like-for-like or hybrid options
- Checked against your panels and switchboard
- Old unit removed and recycled

Installer went out of business?
Start with what still covers you. Panel and inverter warranties may sit with the manufacturer, even when the installer is gone. We help you check.
Will you work on a system you didn't install?
Yes. We service systems other companies installed. Brand and age do not matter; we test it and tell you what we find.
Is my system still under warranty if the installer has gone?
Possibly. Panel and inverter warranties are usually from the manufacturer, so they may still apply if the manufacturer still operates in Australia. Workmanship warranty usually ends with the installer. We check for you.
How much does a health check cost?
We give you a fixed price when you book, before anyone comes out. If repairs are needed, you get a separate written price first.
Can you add a battery to my old system?
Often, yes. It depends on your inverter and switchboard. Adding a battery to existing solar
Do solar panels need cleaning in Melbourne?
Rain does most of the work. Heavy dirt, bird droppings or leaf litter can reduce output, and we will tell you on the health check if cleaning is worth it.
Is it safe to switch my solar off?
Follow the shutdown steps on the label near your switchboard or inverter. If anything is sparking, smoking or smells hot, stay clear and call 000.
