Solar panel installation in Melbourne
Solar PV designed around your roof, your switchboard and your bills, installed by licensed electricians and ready for a battery from day one.
Sized to your roof and your bills, not a package
Two homes on the same street can need very different systems. Roof direction, shade from trees, the age of your switchboard and when you actually use power all change what makes sense.
So we look at your roof, switchboard and bills before we put a number on anything, then give you one written price with any rebate already taken off.
Solar PV, solar panels, photovoltaic: all the same thing. Panels on the roof turn sunlight into electricity, and an inverter turns it into power your home can use.
Every solar quote includes

- Panel layout you can see before you signSo you know exactly what goes where.

What decides your price
No two roofs are the same, so these are the things we look at when we price your system.
Your roof
Tile or tin, pitch, height and how much clear space faces the sun.

Matched to your usage now, plus an EV or battery if you are planning one.
Panels and inverter
Trina, Jinko or Aiko panels, from entry level to premium. We explain the difference in plain terms.
Your switchboard
Older boards sometimes need an upgrade first. We tell you on the visit.

Battery-ready from day one
Many people add a battery a year or two after solar. If the inverter is chosen with that in mind, adding storage later is simpler and cheaper.
Thinking about an EV? We size for that too, so the car can charge from the roof.
- Hybrid inverter options
- Space and cabling planned for a battery
- Works with EV charger load management

What does solar PV mean?
PV stands for photovoltaic: panels that turn sunlight into electricity. Solar PV, solar panels and a solar power system all mean the same thing.
How big a system do I need?
It depends on how much power you use and when, how much roof faces the sun, and whether a battery or EV is coming. We work it out from your bills and a design for your roof, not a package size.
Does solar work in a Melbourne winter?
Yes. Output is lower on short, cloudy days, and higher in summer. We design around your yearly usage, not one sunny day.
Am I eligible for the Solar Victoria rebate?
For owner-occupiers (including homes being built), you need a combined owner income under $150,000, a property worth under $3 million, and no solar installed at the address in the last 10 years. Approval must come before install, or there is no rebate. Rental providers have a separate rental rebate, based on the renters’ household income. We check before quoting and walk you through the application. Rebates explained
What happens if my installer goes out of business?
Your panel and inverter warranties may sit with the manufacturer, but workmanship cover usually ends with the installer. That is why we look after systems we did not install. What to do
