Single phase or three phase?
Most Melbourne homes are single phase. That is plenty for overnight charging.

Yes, with a charger or system that supports it. It works best with a battery or if you are home during the day.
Will it trip my power?
It shouldn't. With load management, the charger slows down when the house needs the power.
I rent or live in an apartment. Can I get one?
Usually, with the owner or owners corporation agreeing first. We can give them the details they need.
