What we collect
When you ask for a quote we collect your name, phone number, postcode and the details of the job, plus anything you choose to send, like photos or bills. We also note how you found us: the page you started on, the site that sent you, and any ad campaign or click details in the link (such as utm tags or a Google click ID).
How we use it
To contact you about your enquiry, prepare a quote, do the work and look after it afterwards, and to understand which ads and pages bring us enquiries. We do not sell your details.
Where it is kept
Your enquiry goes into our job system, which is hosted in Sydney. We use an email service to send you quotes, invoices and messages about your job.
Analytics and ads
This site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. They set cookies and collect things like the pages you view, your device and browser, and your approximate location. We do not use them to identify you by name.
When we advertise on Google, a click on our ad adds a click ID to the link. If that enquiry becomes a job, we may tell Google that the click led to a sale (the click ID, the date and the job value, not your name or contact details) so it shows our ads to people like you. You can turn off personalised ads at Google’s ad settings, block analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or clear and block cookies in your browser. The site still works without them.
Who sees it
Our team, and the providers we need to run the business and deliver your job: our hosting, email and analytics providers, rebate programs, your electricity distributor, and equipment manufacturers for warranty claims. Some of these providers, such as Google, may store data outside Australia.
