How long does a Wall Connector install take?
Usually about half a day. A long cable run or a switchboard upgrade can add time, and we tell you on your quote.
Will a Wall Connector work with a non-Tesla?
Yes. The Australian Wall Connector uses the Type 2 plug, so other Type 2 EVs can use it.
How fast will it charge?
On single phase, about 7 kW, roughly 40 km of range an hour in a typical EV. On three phase, most cars accept up to 11 kW.
Can it charge from my solar?
Yes, with a compatible set-up such as a Tesla Powerwall. We explain the options for your system.
Do I need a switchboard upgrade?
Only if your board has no space or is too old to protect the new circuit safely. We tell you from your photos and confirm on site.
